My 540G Inwall Display Build Thread

I managed to hammer up the first pad this weekend and hopefully I will be able to take it to the recyclers this week. After the path is cleared of the concrete and we get a good rain I will start my trenching for the PVC pipes from the shed to the house. I want to get this done asap so I can put my garden in this area before summer hits.

I covet your weather...

Yes but not the summer electric bill :)

Wow that shed looks great, much better than most sheds I've seen. And great idea with the pavers, I'm always tracking in sand/dirt when I'm walking around outside doing fish tank related jobs.

I get the feeling that the neighbor is backing off. Time will only tell but he has made no attempts to serve me. We did get one of the worst storms Phoenix has ever seen so I will start my trenching on Monday. Its a bit too muddy still to start today.

The sump will be a 48x48x30 stock tank that I have. The fuge will be a 51x22x18 glass tank that I have.

Great build thread. Love the rock work. Good luck with your neighbor. Too bad your neighbor is being a jerk. What did he say he was going to sue you for? It's your backyard not his. Call his bluff...:bum:
Cant wait to see some more of your build.

Here are some crappy pictures of the tanks and sumps. They are all thrown in the shed to get them out of my garage. Here is a picture of the stock tank used for the sump/live rock bin. Sorry for the poor pictures <a href="http://s312.photobucket.com/albums/ll357/Supraking98/?action=view&current=Shed008-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i312.photobucket.com/albums/ll357/Supraking98/Shed008-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Here are the approx 75G tanks for the Frag, Fuge, and Fish QT

<a href="http://s312.photobucket.com/albums/ll357/Supraking98/?action=view&current=Shed015.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i312.photobucket.com/albums/ll357/Supraking98/Shed015.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

We are down about 32-36". I will try to get the plumbing done in the next few days.

Here is my floor plan. Sorry for no google sketch but me and that program are at odds.

The return pump and both closed loops are under the counter. The Fuge and Frag tank will stack on top of each other and above the sump/live rock bin. The coral QT will stack on top of the fish QT tank. Any input on my lay out is welcomed! Thanks
