That spongodes has to be 24-30" wide. It was taking up so much space that I just started putting other corals on top of it and it turned out looking very natural IMO.

How you been Ryan, glad to see the tank is still going strong. I have a spongodes that has encrusted more rock than I would like and have thought about putting a larger frag disc with an acro on it right on the spongodes, how did you go about doing it? Did you glue right on the spongodes?

Yep just glue right to it. The spongodes will encrust the disk but the acro will sting it back so it will not get overgrown.

incredible build sir! its awesome how you made a fish shed and located everything in there along with the tank build inside the wall. one can certainly dream with a build like this! magnificent job you have done and the coral growth is amazing! great job! :thumbsup:

Thanks for all the comments. The skimmer was built by Bill Wann back when he was working with volcano skimmers, or so I was told.

I have dosers for mg, Alk, and water changes. The tank never seemed to like the CA I had dosed so I switched to the big sealab blocks.
