A bit of an update. I have been steadily adding fish and currently have a bunch more in QT waiting to go in right after Christmas. I have been struggling with mostly SPS for the past 2 months. Normally at this age of the tank its really hitting its stride and anything I add to the tank does well. But right now I'm having SPS brown/pastel out and sit like that for a month or two then bleach and like that for a few more week then die. All this right next to an SPS with great new growth on it. Usually corals bleach on me and then fully die within a few days but in this case I have corals that are bleachhing and staying white for months. I have even had a few bleached corals regain their full colors and start to grow again after a few months, something that has never happened to me in the past. All other types of corals seem to be fine. Over the past few weeks I have increased my water changes, started using MB7, started running carbon and a Purapad. Things seem to be a bit better and at least the cyano is mostly gone now.
