Here are a few pics of my tank I am in the process of setting up. One before (scratched) and two after. I will be revamping the stand and canopy prior to filling.

Unfortunately I have to leave on a week long trip. I'll be off the following week and will be working on filling it up. I'm really nervous on doinf the rockwork. I've never done this before and want it to look great. Anyone have any suggestions or pointers. Thx

Pointer - don't let the rock touch the acrylic. Don't touch the acrylic ever. If you breathe on it, it will scratch.

Just kidding, but I have grown to hate acrylic tanks because of how easily they scratch.

I have figured out that I will never have acrylic again. I ended up getting a pretty good deal on these aquariums and couldn't pass them up because I would have spent a lot more $$$ setting a new one up. Hopefully I can refinish the other one in a few months and sell it so I can have some more money to spend on livestock

Tyson, looks great! Did you use the Micro-mesh??

Marty.... I did use the Micro-Mesh. Thanks for the recomendation. I still wasn't able to get 100% of the scratches out, but most of them. I will definitely be going glass next time around.

I saw these tanks set up about 2 or 3 years ago he had them both lookin good, they are really cool tanks let me know how much for the other tank. I'm sure they will be restored to their once beauty.

Blindside... Will do. I was planning on refinishing the othe tank here in the next month or two. I would sell it either way. Either now with the kit to restore it or restored. If interested give me a shout. 6625518270. If not I'll post on here when its done. I really like these tanks for the fact that everything is actually built into the aquarium. The only downfall is the acrylic, but it can be refinished.

I'll post some more pics when I start introducing livestock

I have the tank identical to this one and bought it from tgriffin. I have never set it up. He had two but only set one up. Do not contact tyson. He has now sold his tank in the pictures. Just wanted you to see what I have for sale. It is a all in 1 60 gal corner bowfront tank with the exact same canopy and stand as tysons. It is an all in one acrylic with built in sump and protein skimmer, heater, etc. The lighting is a 250w Aquamedic MH with built in ballast. Everything included with this tank. I am asking what I paid for it $300. It is a very nice tank. I am planning on setting up a 60 cube. DO NOT CONTACT TYSON HE HAS SOLD THIS TANK. DO SEND ME A PM THROUGH RC. Thanks. Vicki
