I'll be honest with you guys, you have no idea just how stressful it's been lately trying to manage the display so i can't imagine what would happen if i tried to do it on a much bigger scale.

Take this speciosa that's blue and white.

6 weeks ago i chopped the left branch off and stuck it somewhere else that i want a blue and white acro to be and look what happened.......... it's turned bloody blue and bluer ! :deadhorse:

I mean how am i supposed to make a decent looking reef when stuff is doing that on me........ if i wanted a blue and bluer acro i would have just stuck a piece of this there for pete's sake.....

And don't even get me started on that bloody chalice i bought a few weeks back, orange and white so i stick it behind the blue acro and within a week the white bits start changing to pink........... #$@^# it's no wonder people give this hobby away in frustration..........:hammer::headwally:

Those acros are absolutely georgeous. Post some of these pics in the SPS forum so people who hang out there can drool over them. My aim is to someday get a acro that blue.

So, anything special going on in this tank at the moment? Still just skimming and changing the water?

Honestly what stupid corals, you pay good money for them and then they go change color on you. You shouldn't have to put up with stuff like that mate so best you put those on hold for me, its not like their stunning or anything:deadhorse:

I mean come on mate, first Bello decides to give up the city life to live in a treehouse in some remote forest...and now you dont want to share those images which cause our eyes to blink in disbelief at assortment of disgusting colours...which all must have been photoshopped...

You are hereby ordered by association of Biggles' Tank Journal subscribers to ensure you make a new thread or continue this thread. This is no joke Biggles...this is a serious matter.

A larger tank means more corals...more corals means more disgustingly awesome coral photos...I say on with the tank journal and make a new one if required.

Biggles can you tell me which brand/colour of spray paint you used on the Speciosa and that striking blue SPS in the last photo?

On a serious note, I dont know how you do it mate, but whatever you are doing for your reef is just perfect. The colours are AWESOME. :beer:

Lol i turned the radium off and just had the T5's on for this little closeup one mate - HD is the only way to watch such gratuitous viewing.

Biggles, that "actinic" one is obviously not the actinic bulbs, but nuclear radiation which is making the corals so colorful, I do not approve of such practices:lol:

Marty, we dont want to scare Biggles away...:facepalm:...So you have to be a little sly mate...what you do is post random talk...something about the weather...something about his current tank...and then sneak a question or two about the new tank. :uhoh2: And finish off with cussing Bello and his new life in some remote forest...incidentally, I think Bello has gone a bit :crazy1: and hope he will return soon.

Now, you have to be careful mate...start with only a question or two...I'm hoping this strategy will work...Once he has responded to a question or two...BACK off. At this point Biggles's mind will be a little confused...he will look like this: :hmm4: but he should hopefully be back posting about potatohead or something.

Now it is at this point that you decide to probe with more questions or not...analyse Biggles's posts carefully...if all seems well, hit him with with a barrage of questions...thats when Biggles will go through this: :mixed: however, the eventual outcome will be Biggles looking like this:
