Thanks robot
I had a couple pm's about it being bare bottom
Never had a problem I had sand before and my nitrates were always up over 20ppm
Now undetectable and I kept everything the same just no sand now

Ahhhhh a lil secret j/k
So I got that colt when it was about 2 inches big (frag)
I at the time didn't have any spare rubble rock
So I put a sure grip magnet in some Tupperware and in about 3 weeks it attached it self
There is a lil rock that the frag had when I got it but the coral was half on half off
It worked well I do have some other frags attached to nano mag cleaners
But they are off to the sides of the tank
I've found that leather will pretty much attach themselves to pretty much anything plastic
But not glass

My next plans are to get gsp and anthelia (spelling) and attach that to the over flow
Bit haven't made up mind that I want that in my tank

I may just put another couple finger leathers there

Anyone have some ideas what would like nice there
Someone from my local reef club mentioned different colored mushrooms on the overflow I thought that was a neat idea but that would take some work

Thanks gods child I had sps and lps tanks before but I love how the corals move in the current very satisfying to the eye ESP. After a hard day
Plus it seems like people aren't into softies as much so I wanted something different but still have that wow effect
I especially love the fact that I can go to bed at night or away on vacation, or miss a water change here and there and know that if something is wrong these corals are very forgiving

Almost forgot another reason I like using magnets is

Once the coral attaches to the magnet I can glue some rubble rock on the magnet on which the corals will the attach to that (instant frags) then I just remove the rubble off the magnet with the coral

so since its a BB tank what kind of flow do you have for the tank and how much is on the bottom of the tank?
what do you dose in your tank?
corey
