My acorpora spawn together last night. It last about 10 min and my aquarium is full of eggs for a while. I was so excited!

Most of the eggs are cleared out by skimmer or eaten by my fish.
Should I still perform water change?

Wow, good job pulling out the video camera in time!

How do you know that the 'eggs' were from Acropora and not the clams or something else in the tank?

I can see clearly eggs raising up from within the acropora polyps from several large colony. Very cool indeed! Just like in discover channel.

I love the Taiwanese in the backdrop.. Your wife thought it was terrifying and you were telling her you got to change the water...

Actually I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I return the aquarium is in a big mess. both main pumps choked by sand and 2 out of 5 metal halide broke. Also the kalk reactor magnetic stirer broke and my ca-reactor choked. After I fix everything, this magical event unfold before my eyes within 2 hours. I wonder this is something that triggers the event.

IMO it was most likely due to the stress, they spawned to try and insure that their kind would survive. They must have thought they where about to die. Keep an eye on them, may not be done yet.
