Damn it, just read that shippers starve BTA's of light to make them look pretty!!
Damn it all! It makes them easier to sell I guess b/c you see all the colors. Its 20" under a 250w MH now... It should color back up right? Paid $125 for it!! Is that at least a good price?

Looked at some other bleached BTAs and it seems like mine has much more color then the others. Is that a good sign that it didn't get too sick bleached?

Since you mentioned rainbow RBTA, here's a thread on them. You can also see how RBTA color should look like as well. To me, some of those so call rainbow anemone are just lighting gimmick and post processing. I'm not saying they're not real but just a little "enhanced"

Here's a good thread on RBTA show off. You can see I used to keep a boat load of RBTA. :P

We all make mistakes. I still do too. :). $125 is too much for an RBTA. This of course, is depending on your area but I'm sure you can get it from your local club members(CSTAR) for less than that. FWIW, BTA are known to split left and right. They are the more common anemone for trading between local members. If I check my local forum, I can see at least 2-3 RBTA for sale a week.

Lastly, I don't think you have to worry about the one you got right now. BTA can recover pretty quickly.

Nice nems...love the RF...about to order a cpl today!!! I've never seen a Crucifer with that long of tentacles!

I must say, if the colors got darker. I think this one would look similar to some of those stated as bubble tips.

Here is a pic of it this morning. Top right of it looks to be pinching, could it be slitting already? How do you think it looks now?

Here is a video of what I believe is splitting? Hang in there for the end of the video, my mandarin jumps in the shot.
