Thanks... The tank looks much better in person. Its hard to get a good FTS to show all the colors.
 
You got my vote for tank of the month. We need a tank full of personality and not just sticks. I just purchased my first two aussie acans yesterday and strive for my tank to look like yours. Keep up the great work!
 
Do you feed each of your acan colonies, as in spot feed them? Or do you just feed the tank in general and hope a colony gets food?

I dont know much about acans, but I plan on getting some into a reef tank within the next couple months.

If you do spot feed, do you feed just a couple heads per colony or do you try to get every head to get a piece of food?

Thanks for your vote.. TOTM would be an honor to win. Yes its been a while since we have seen a LPS dominated TOTM. Most of the winning tanks are SPS dominated but sure are awesome.

I do NOT spot feed my acans. I think that's risky when having lots of fish. Ive had to remove several fish in the past from spot feeding. I turn the return pump off and just dump in a mixture of reef roids and cyclopeeze.
 
In the past month Ive been having problems with my scolys. I have ran the intercepter with no luck. All tank levels are good. Any help would be great. All other corals are doing great Acans,Acro,lobos,.
 
Really nice tank, love the colors. So how often do you feed, must me a pain to feed all those lps. Anyways really enjoyed the tank.
 
I am very envious now. You have one super nice tank! How often do you feed your tank and how many fish are in there now. I only saw the two yellow tangs and an anthias.
 
I just started with my first 2 frags this weekend, i would love a LPS dominated tank like yours.

I may switch my lighting just to get the effect you are achieving.

I'm in love with it! i am going to get 5 more frags this next weekend and hope to have even 1/8th of your very obvious success.
