Baracuda pumps?

Baracuda pumps?

How quiet are those Baracuda pumps? i am looking to replace my old pumps but I need the quietest pumps I can find.
I am almost done cycling my own tank. I made my walls and LR shelf with rock climbing wall holds. Tank looks good.

One of them isn't too bad but the one on my closed loop has a pretty good hum to it.

Nice set up. Personally, the pillars in front are a tad bit tall, but that's my opinion and most of the time it won't even get me 2 cents. I think in the future you should plan some kind of ATO system. If you do run one, run at lest 3 separate 1/8" lines. 1 for ro/di another for Kalk mixer supply, and a spare.

So... I haven't been able to catch my Chocolate mimic from my other tank with a net. I rented this trap from the lfs on Monday...

Baited it Tuesday and caught him Wednesday night. He was P.O.'d. He thrashed around so much... he scratched himself up a little...

Good to see you today and have you join us at Dang's. We were there for quite a while and I took home a very large stag colony. Kevin got something like 17 frags. We did a full TMPCC & Interceptor dip on them all.

Very nice tank! You all kept me quite entertained while reading through the last 28 pages, very good thing considering I am doing NOTHING at work with it being Easter and all!

Forgot my camera today. I'll have to post a pic of that new frag tomorrow. It looks good. My cleaner wrasse died while we were at Dang's. I really had hopes for him because he was eating.

I don't have any issue with my wrasses surviving since there is so much action in my tank, but I do lament the day I added them since they harrass my clams...you are probably better off without the cleaner.
