I keep the rots going until about day 25 -- but less and less after you really notice them eating the dry stuff and pretty much everyone has morphed.
Somewhere around day 14-16-ish is when mine start to morph. I had a straggler tho that was about a week behind the others last time. The first true sign I had was a tiny little stripe on the head. Then they spent most of the time at the bottom rather than zipping all around.
Way to go!!

.
WOW 25 days of rots. I start BBS on day 4 and morph starts @ day 6-9. I also do not do any water changes until all are complete morph. Just slow drip additions of fresh water.

Oh jeepers. I'm sorry. Yes indeed I start live BBS around day 6 or 7. (I have gold stripe maroons) After that - then I start to taper off the rots little by little. After they have all morphed, I taper waaaay back on the rots and start the dry stuff - but continue to give the live BBS. Eventually, I drop the live BBS to everyother feeding and then every other day while switching over to frozen BBS and cyclops.
Day 25 is what is suggested in the clownfish book - that's why I go that long -- but again by that time it's really very little each day.
Sorry again for confusion![]()

I stop with rots after they are totally on BBS. Usually 8 days.
Nice clutch of eggs. Why not use a tile and save the whole snagger thing? I do water changes as necessary. I would definitely do at least one before meta. To get me through meta without messing with things much. (My water changes take hours because I drip the new water back in.) I have no choice but to do water changes to keep ahead of the ammonia. It seems FB lives where there is no ammoniaYou'll know meta because they stop being quick tails and start being waggy tails
Also they usually get a headband. (or Ocellaris do anyways)
