Thanks!

Just ordered 2 of these with the wireless controllers. While I love me ecotechs, the noise is starting to annoy me. My tank is dead silent so they are super loud. Mp10s are to small and mp40s are too big. I'm hoping this is right in the middle. Kinda nice that it will all be in the tank and silent.

Very nice, Just a reminder not just to you but everyone about placing coral. Think about them being 10x BIGGER, if it's still a good spot go for it.

I'm hoping things grow in nicely. I'm sure when things start growing the placemat will change on some stuff. Hard to gauge what's going to grow where, or what's going to grow fast vs slow. Once growth kicks in, I will move stuff around if I have too. Thanks!

Little update. Got the jebaos. Sold them the next day because I got a crazy deal on a apex and some tunze 6095!

Also got some new peices. Unfortunately I've been playing with my light, trying to dial it in. This caused me to upset a couple peices which browned out. Hope they bounce back soon.

Here is the new pic ups.

I enjoyed reading this thread, main reason it's very well organized and though out. By chance were did you buy those lights. I am impressed with the coverage of them.

Thank you very much. The light is a custom unit. It is made by Dave at Nanobox reef. He is very popular in the nano world, and is now starting to make bigger units. This light is one of his Quad fixtures with retrofitted t5's.

The light is full spectrum and has 52 LEDs. It's a mixture of luxeon rebel es, and semiled and controlled by a coralux storm controller. The full layout is
8 - Warm White, 8 - Neutral White, 4 - Cyan, 8 - Violet, 16 - Royal Blue, 8 - Blue

The coverage is great. I credit that to the light not having optics. I'm sure the t5s help also. Not having optics also makes the shimmer amazing. No discoball look which I hate!
Very nice build, the tank looks like it belongs in the rest of the room, very stylish :)

Thank you!

Did you ever find out why the EcoTechs were so loud? I dint have any but I always heard that if they aren't in line they can rattle around. Maybe that is the issue. However nice choice with the Tunzes. I used to run them with a controller on my 90 SPS and everything was happy.
