I grow them under T5 lighting in a 14" deep tank. They seem to like it better than my MH's, although they can handle stronger lighting. They have good flow as well. I don't feed them, although I'm sure they enjoy the oyster food that I feed my stereo nepthea.
If you mean the solid, fuzzy green ones? Those came in as a hitchhiker and have just spread like crazy in the last year. They are half the size of normal clove polyps.
Yup I had the baby blue Clauvaria in my tank but they eventually, and very slowly disappeared...I might have a few buds left, and after looking at yours I might try moving the rock to a higher flow area.
I've had the tiny blue cornflower ones for a while now. They were wiped off their initial rock by a blenny, but two smaller colonies survived. I just picked up a few larger ones over the weekend.
I LOVE cloves. Everytime I see them I am instantly drawn to them, I have had issues with some in the past "shriveling" up from the base ( only happens to the big type).
Looking good , Cloves are way underrated to say the least.
Cloves are the best. I have green with gold tips and a smaller clove with green and yellow tips. I plan on fragging some and sharing with local reef club.
