My Clown Just Ate a Bristleworm!

I was adding a some new snails to my tank and noticed a small bristleworm in the bag too. It was about 0.5 inches long and thin. Using a toothpick, I dropped it into the water and my female Ocellaris snatched it!

Now her mouth is a bit gaped. Can a clownfish handle a bristleworms sting internally?

Should I just leave alone or do I need to intervene somehow?

I can't imagine that being a confortable meal to swallow. I don't think there is anything you can do. Hopefully all things will pass;) :)

I had a small bristle worm in my glass cleaner and i shook him out. My clown 1.5" came and ate it, but puked it back immediately. Then my 4" blue hippo tang immediately came and ate it. That was over a month ago. Both are still alive.

All is well.
She didn't eat the following day, but after that she's back to being the pig that she was.
