My clownfish hosting in Elegance coral...

Came home today to find this:

Now if my GBTA would quit being a dummy, come back out from behind the rocks, and let the clowns meet him, life would be good

yup.. My buddy had a beautiful elegance that was slowly killed by hosting clowns.

while i encourage the clowns to host and to more so, make babies, why is it that the elegance's die from this?

most elegance can't take the rubbing abuse etc that clowns do when hosting.

my clowns hosted the elegance coral when they were young but as they got older and started spawning. they just got to ruff with it and the elegance got transfered to a diff tank. if they get to ruff they can tear it.
