My Dotty Back is going psycho...

Hey all,

I have a 14G Cube currently with 2 percs, 1 Magenta/strawberry Dottyback and 1 yellow watchman goby.

When the hubby put the YWG in over the weekend he went and found his little cave and snuggled in.

However, since then, we noticed that the dotty back has been going nuts. Mind you his cave is on the other side of the tank. He has been going in and out through all the rock structures and is shredding up his fins and losing scales.

He would never pay attention the the cave on the other side of the tank, but now the YWG is in there he tries to aggressively enter.

Any help on what we can do?

This afternoon we added a stress coat and decided to keep the lights off to calm him down.

Dottybacks don't go psycho, they start out that way  .

Your tank is pretty small for four fish, esp with one of them being a dottyback. With three fairly passive fish I'd suggest removing the dottyback if you can catch it.

jmo,

Our magenta pseudochromis was verry territorial and generally mean. We called him Capone, eventually he went back to the lfs. Ours bullied gobies badly. Thats is just my experiance Im shure other do better.
