My first major experience with RTS

Osteomata

Lost a beautiful, pink-orange, softball-sized birds nest in 48 hours. Day one, just one of the major branches went white, but I though it was reacting to physical damage. I woke up this morning, and nearly the whole coral was well on its way to pure white skeleton. This eveing, its all over. Unbelievable how fast it went. Ah well, no others appear effected.

Next time get at least two frags from the healthy side of the coral, you will be surprised how they survive even after the mother colony is lost.

Yes RTN, mis typed. Necrosis does have two essess though, heh. I would have fragged if I had recognized the condition in time, next time I will know.
