My First Order... Acros... Broken up

Hello,
I received my first order from live aquaria... All three of my corals had broken pieces off them... When the FedEx driver handed me the box, I could here the corals flopping around inside.... When I buy Acros locally, my LFS rubber bands their base to a small cutout of white floating Styrofoam so they float in the bag....

Generally attaching corals with rubber bands to styrofoam, may be done successfully if the coral has been harvested with a large base of rock. However, in some instances rubber bands may irritate and damage a coral.

As we stated above we don’t ship Acoropora corals with Styrofoam as it can irritate and may cause more stress to the coral.

Just wanted to let you know, 2 pieces of coral from 2 different orders are doing awful... Under 3 250 Watt Metal Halides...
The Purple tip Acro, and now my elegance... The elegance just never got going... Never opened up... I have 2 huge pieces of elegance in my tank and they thrive.... I tried putting yours all over the place.... Sand ect.... Braced it with rocks... Just doesn't open...

Here is a pic of it today.... It has that white mucas which usually indicated it's on it's way out...
