My first pond (pics)

And freeze them :D yeah! I think I rather clean the the slime in the pond than hear my wife ask me "honey, what is this in the freezer bag?"
 
Another thing that gets annoying in my area is the number of cane toads who feel that my pond is some sort of amphibian 5 star resort
Never had that problem myself -and happy about that-but my pond is elevated o i think that helps
 
The toads. Once the eggs are in the water you're not getting them out... only a complete water change will do it.

:lol: My wife would kill me if I put a toad in the kitchen fridge. I euthanize them in my beer fridge in the Garage.

Any other euthanasia methods tend to be a bit in the gory side... I already feel bad enough about freezing them... :(

Thats what I was trying to avoid. My wife would flip.
When I had a ton of snakes, my wife found thier food, the frozen mice (bought that way) and she has never recovered....lol
 
Roger, congrats on your new endevor... I have been busy with work so have not been on reef central for a while so just saw this now.

You may not know this but I have a kidney shaped pond that measures about 10ft in length 3 ft deep and 5 ft wide with 13 koi in it if you have any questions or need help please let me know
