They came from a T5 HO tank. The rock carried a few copepods and mysid shrimp. I have 4 layers of flyscreen on the top of my tank and the coral is at the very bottom.

Not bad for 20 bucks! I would have bought them! What are they called?
I think I paid 35 For my first colony but that had 3 varieties.
Most recently I paid 50 bucks for a colony with four varieties.

Why the fly screen? Are you afraid of bleaching it or is that how you acclimate new corals?
I bet they are a lot prettier without all that shade.
What color are the centers it kinda tough to tell with the pics?

the fly screen is for light acclimation. if it came from a tank with a lower level of lighting and you put it in a tank with higher levels of lighting it might stress it out.

technically they are 40 bucks but i had a half price off coupon. I dont know the name, they were in a tank full of small corals (not as small as frags but not as big as a show piece) and all the corals there were called nano corals and they were all 40 dollars each.

Flyscreen is more for my ricordeas. These zoas came from a T5HO tank so it doesnt need much of an acclimation to my MH tank, but the rics came from PCs.

The polyps tentacles or whatever they are called start off with a very dull brown and go out to a dark orange. The base is purple and when closed the tip of the closed zoa is green (very nice for night time blue moonlights) Then there is a white circle before the tentacles start, then its purple for most of the head and the mouth is green. They have a lot of colors lol

I think another type of zoa came on the rock with them but they are very small so i cant really describe them. Their tetacles are brown, their heads are brown, but there are 3 yellow lines that form a l
