For the past 4-5 days, I have noticed that on my large powder blue tang, damn damsel a fine , white powdery coating on their skin. They do not appear to be lethargic or have any loss of apetite. They are not scraping themselves against the rock. I have also noticed too , when all this started , my Fuzzy Dwarf Lion lionfish has been exp some clouding of the lens of his eyes. Could this be the same disease ? How do I treat this?

Your tang might have Velvet. Do a freshwater dip for 5 minutes and see if some of the powder falls off. If it does, then it's velvet and you'll need to start copper treatment asap. Velvet will kill much faster than ich.

Have you seen ich before? It looks more like grains of salt sprinkled on the fish. If so, does your tang look like he has ich that you've seen before?
