Frags are looking good. Pe is starting.
Whatythe acro to the right of the OT in the first shot and just left of it in second to last pic?

What happened with that acro incrusting in your fuge? :)
They're still in my frag tank. It's tied into this system.

Thank you. I think the increase in flow will help with pe. I'm happy you can tell that the blue one is OT. That's your run of the mill Tyree pink lemonade. I'm sure with my placement of those corals they're 2 of my favorites and will give good contrasting growth and color.

Do you use a tripod while shooting? Any suggestions on one? I'm looking at a Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB. I like the way the center post articulates. I don't know whether to get the kit with their head or get a manfrotto ball head? Any help is much-needed.

OT and PL are two of my favs as well. The contrast will be amazing.
Well, I can tell you that 'manfotto ball head' should be the name of an S and M goth/metal band but I can't tell you if it is worth getting..
I am not knowledgeable about tripods. I either put my lens right up against the glass to hold it steady or stand back and use a longer lens.
I don't think fancy is all that necessary..

I just need to get more time to take pictures with my dslr.

I went to the lake for the day and when I returned 6 fish were missing from my DT. I have located 3 of them in my overflow and haven't found the others. There are no salt water marks next to the tank and no dried carcasses any where. I'm guessing my dogs have figured out how to fish and are having a heck of a good time while I'm gone. They didn't even catch any big fish but I assume that's not what they're telling the neighbor dogs. I'm in a bit of a conundrum with adding more "expenses" fish that I like or not. It's interesting to see the color difference between the frags in my DT and the ones in my frag tank. I need more fish in my DT as some of the corals are paling. I just don't know what to do about the dogs.

I added another coral last night. It wasn't by choice really. I found that my ORA Hawkins echinata became uncomfortable mounted so I grabbed some water weld and super glue and in she went. Pe is good but I'm having some nuisance algae on the sand. It's been a while since I have had sand in a tank and cant remember if this is a normal maturing thing or not.

The orange spot goby is a good sand turner who doesn't toss it around too much. They are pretty good at learning to catch frozen foods and even flake/pellets.
Tough for fish to clean sand and snails stay off of it..
Hermits might help as well..

I went ahead and stirred part of my sand to break up the algae and it looks a thousand times better today.

I also stopped by my lfs and picked up a new fish!

I also have a couple of new corals coming!

Brandon, I gotta say.. as wicked cool as that frag looks, it also looks next to death to me.. it is just so devoid of zoox, I just can't see how this thing will survive..
And if it survives, you'd probably have to run extreme ulns zeo or something to keep it looking like that.
I could be totally off on this one and I think you've already purchased so I apologize for the rain in the parade..
love the fish though!

So I was leary as well but I talked with a friend that says it's the real deal and seen a picture of the colony. While now as white it was still a decent gamble as far as price. I really like to hear everyone's opinions. It helps me further my knowledge on what they look for in a coral. Thanks. I want to pick up a female too. Or read some more and see if I can mix others in the genus.
wow wonderful build. love the dimension and the aquascape is killer.
Thank you, I wish it was larger but my wife won that argument. Thank you, I hope it looks better with coral!
Schweet scores :D
Thank you. I'm really excited about the swallowtail angel.

Now on to what everyone wants to see, a couple of pictures from tonight. I'm really getting the right combo of corals I want in front of and next to each other. My display should fill up some more soon.

My ASD Rainbow and Wwc ding dang mille are looking amazing. I had to take some pictures for reminders.
