my goby missing in action

my goby I have had for 3 weeks. since putting it in my tank I have never seen it. Yesterday I rearranged my rocks and picked up a rock and look who was hiding. Yes my goby. Why is my goby hiding where I never see it in the open. I thought it was dead or something. I guess my question is, is this normal?

I had an orange spotted goby that disappeared once for two months. I had had him for over a year at that point and he was always out in the open. I thought he was a goner. Then one day, he majically reappeared as if nothing had ever happened.

Pretty normal behavior for gobies.

So I shouldn't give up hope on my Tiger Watchman Goby. haven't seen him for the last 2 months.

My Yashi Hase goby disappears for weeks at a time. He then pops out at feeding time zips across the tank to grab the biggest piece of food and hides again.

I didnt know that gobies like to hide. The purpose of getting him is for people to see hime. Oh well, lol what do you all feed your gobies?
