My HOLY GRAIL

After months of trying to find a suitable specimen, I pull the plug and special order this guy from a local importer. He is currently the king of my 60 gallon cube. Must admit I was a bit scared the first couple of days since he WOULD NOT touch any type of food I used. After some research, I purchased Roggers Reef Food and sure enough a day later he started eating like a pig. Even coming out of his cave long enough for me to snap this crappy iphone pic.

Men it's incredible. Something happened to me. I bought a gem tank and he was getting skinnier every day. I tried to feed him with a lot of diferents food, with out any result. I visited a local store and they suggest me to feed the fish with Rogger Reef Food, I entered to the food website (www.roggersreeffood.com) and read about the product. After two days the fish started to eat the roof and after a couple of days more, the fish was eating like crazy. Now, I have the pleasure to enjoy my precious "gem".

One of the most beautiful fish. Congrats on him eating. Roggers food is great I just got the 'plus' edition as well as the regular one. All my fish are going nuts for it as well!

Beautiful fish. If you are feeding Roggers (I do), get a grater and grate it up so it does not float. Works very well for planktivores.

Yes I do feed him Roggers. I place it on the mesh bag I purchased with the food. I am telling you all fishes LOVE it. And before, I was going crazy trying to get my Candy to eat..and nothing. IDK if it was coincidence but sure enough one day after, he started eating like a pig. He even comes UP to the mesh bag at the surface darting for food and then retrieves back to his cave.

i love roggers food. But my 100 of nasarius snails can smell it miles away and climb up to the magnet veggie clips to steal it from most the fish.

I wish I still had my smaller tank, but a family member gave it away, without my permission, to a plumber. <Growl>

Absolutely one of my favorite fish. Gorgeous color and great personalities. One day I will make the leap for one. But until then I'll just continue to dream.

I've had my eye on the Candy Basslet Pair on DD. I just can't bring myself to spend almost 2K on a fish I will probably never see. If they swam around like an angelfish than no worries, but they hide all the time don't they??

Anyway, regardless they are amazing looking fish! Enjoy!

Don't fall for the upcharge of a "pair". Just buy two individuals, and they will pair.
