My home SPS reef [175G/800l]

I'm no expert, but I would agree with you. The corralites look that way. I guess it's the rapid growth that makes it look so branchy.
Beautiful!
How much flow does this coral get? Is it in low flow?

Pawel, have you begun aquascaping the new tank? What type of rock and style of scaping are you thinking about?
Early on in this thread you mentioned not being happy with the layout of your current tank.
I'm sure you have been doing LOTS of thinking about how the new tank will look...
Care to share some of your thoughts?
Will you continue with big skimming, AIO pellets and fuge for nutrient removal?
Can't wait to see the skimmer you choose for this new monster of a tank..
Also, is iPhoto still your only editing tool for your photos?

Just saw this thread for the first time. Fantastic SPS colonies and photography. Love the variety of fish as well.

I've already put a dry rock into my tank - a few posts earlier there is a short clip when you can see a rock placement.

The main issue with my old tank is that I've placed too much rock and corals inside. All space from left to right, front to back is occupied with corals and rocks so it prevents a proper water movement inside the tank. I'm also having issues with majano anemones and knopia soft corals - I'm going to get rid of them in my new project.
I haven't decided yet what type of filtration I'm going to use but it will be either zeovit or AIO pellets. For skimming I'm going to use my old BK 300 - I'm going to keep even less fish in my 1400l tank than I have now in the old 800l one.
And yes, Iphoto is still my choice for pictures - probably I'm just too lazy to find a better software - after taking a shot I only correct white balance (to 10k K) and than publish it on flickr.

I've placed it in a middle section of my tank - medium to low flow.

Just saw this thread for the first time. Fantastic SPS colonies and photography. Love the variety of fish as well.

Thank you.

It's been a while so I've managed to transfer my corals to a new tank. Below you will find some pics from the transfer and a few more current shots.
The tank is still very young with a lot of cycling in progress and colors are not that it used to be but hopefully I've managed to move all corals I wanted without any loss.

Still looking really good, Pawel!
Looking forward to seeing some mind blowing fts, soon..
I love that first acro sitting in the measuring cup, what is it?

A presume it's echinata. The photo was taken in full sun so the color is completly different than in my tank. - This is the same coral but inside the aquarium:

Those are some gorgeous corals!

Thank you, I try to do my best

Lovely colonies. Congratulations on achieving such health growth.

I like the idea of using a hacksaw. I need one too as I can no longer cut some of my staghorns with a straightforward cutter. Do you think that using a hacksaw is better than using a power tool, such as a dremel?

A stunner in or out of the tank!

Thank you all.
I didn't have any power tool nearby so hacksaw is my weapon of choice.

btw. there are some recent macro shots I've made in my new tank.
