My Hybrid black tang came in

I couldn't really tell? His face was not as black as on the picture. Somewhere here on RC Copps does a good comparison of Blacks and Hybrids. Zoacollector found something on the fish to make it a hybrid? No one is going to give you a Black Tang for $220, still a heck of a purchase

Any pattern or how the face was lightly colored/green is the only way to tell with most. Here is one of the threads Copps commented in

I don't think anybody's worried about getting a black tang for $220, but a dark scopas that loses its coloration.
 
Most of your fish are on the thinner side, especially that lighter yellow tang. I think your tank is new and ost of the fish are new. I hope they are gainning in weight for you.
