wow love the scape how did you keep them rocks in place looks so natural

Thank you!!! Im a scuba diver and I have spent hours studying formations on real reefs. I just try to duplicate them. There is really 5 separate pillars. The big face rock is one rock. Texas holy rock. It weighed 90 lbs dry. The rock coming out from the upper right side is a Tunze wave box. It is completely covered with three different Monties. The sunset montie is taking over though. The back right pillar is covered by 5 RBTAs. Pretty much a fortune in Aquamend is the trick for the rest. I incorporate the sides of the tank. I'm trying for a reproduction of swimming through a channel on the GBR.

Thank you all. Added a nice big Dendrophyilla colony under my Strawberry Shortcake colony. Fought through AEFW, redbugs but now it's all worth it. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

It really does look like your swimming past a section of a reef with all the mixed corals. The tabling acros are sweet! I find myself just staring annd looking through your coral collection. Well done

Thank you very very much! It is truely a mixed reef. I love tabling acros also. I am glad you guys enjoyed!

Very nice, the scaping is indeed terrific! I've done two pillars in my 120 which are very vertical - I like the perception of depth and the vertical reach, but I find it difficult to place SPS in the lower portions as they quickly become shaded. The white balance on your last couple shots looks much better than the first few you posted.

Yep, getting better at the pics. That is the reason I ended up going down the azoox route. The shading is a constant issue that requires lighting adjustments and pruning of the corals.
