My Leemar 90 Build.

That is wonderful! I wish I had space for something like this in my backyard.
Very Jealous :D

Cediss, Thanks, It is a nice place to visit in the evening.... You should see it with the lights on and the music playing.

Mike, Thanks, I guess it is even better when you know you were the one that built it.... That is another reason I am enjoying the Leemar 90 Build!

CaboKent and Mykim72, Thankyou for the compliment!

Andrew, Listen, I have watched your thread as well.... You are a talented builder. I wish I had your Acrylic skills!

All of you are welcome to come over for a beer and see my zoo!

If you don't mind, I'll have a lot of questions for you because I hoping to setup a pond in our backyard in about 6 months.

To all,

I was thinking it would be cool to do a frag type meet at my house..... Music, Coral, Beer, and eats.... In a pretty cool unfinished backyard!

Andrew, Thanks, I already checked them out. Seems like everyone leans more towards the phoenix 14K's.

Chad,

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. Also, you also seem to be leaning towards the 14K. The fixture I am looking at has supplemental T5HO's.... Do you think that is enough to color up the MH's?

Sorry for the delayed response... been a bit busy for a while getting ready for some vacation!

I think the Phoenix 14K look awesome with supplemental T-5 lighting, but then again to each their own. I kind of like the crisp white/blue look, while others like more blue in their tank. I'm running the Phoenix 14K with no supplemental light on my frag tank, and although the growth is good, the colors don't show as well.

Great looking pond BTW... I've missed some good posts since I've last checked this thread out!

Wow, that pond is sick. If only my dirt wasn't filled with giant rocks. It takes me like 3 hours just to dig a proper hole for a tree. Gotta love Fontana.

To all,

I haven't posted in a week or so. The tank has been cycling for a little over 2 weeks now....

I will post pics later of my hair algea sea forrest..... It really looks bad.... but in a good way.

Ammonia is on the downside.
Nitrates and Nitrites still real high.... But, depending on my eyesite, it looks like they are coming down....

Maybe just my wishful thinking..... I want to put stuff in....

I just posted my ASM G3 for sale.... $125 I hope that is a fair price.... I bought it for $150 and cleaned it up....

It just wouldn't fit and made so many bubbles that they were escaping to the tank.

I bought a bubble magnus NAC-6. Thanks, Tom at Socal..... my wife is beginning to not like you!

Anyway, I like the small footprint and it allows me the space to place another bubble trap. (That will be a trick.....)

I have got almost all of the system wired and running the way I want it.... Now I just need to clean up the wires.... Then I will post some pics!

Anyway, if anyone is interested in a good G3.... let me know!

Hey Randy,
if you haven't stocked your tank yet you should look in to the 14 day cycle. Smalltime (Mike) did it to his new set up and his levels are at 0 (nitrates and all that) From what I understand you nuke the tank with carbon dosing and force a bacteria bloom. Shoot him a PM.

Mike,

The aquascaping hasn't changed for the back or the left side.... It won't either.... We are real happy with it. The right side is going to come from our nano tank.... As soon as I can start moving critters.....

So hard to wait.

My RSM 250 cycled in 1 week with live rock and bacteria....

I am 2 1/2 weeks now with bacteria and dry rock....

It's killing me!

I hope Sunday night!

Ev'e,

I am using bacteria and I have a great algea bloom...... I just want the nitrates and nitrites to go away......

Then some snails and stuff....

Well, I thought I would post a picture of my full blown algea bloom tank!
The good news is that the levels are on the down hill side....
I hope to place a clean up crew in there on Sunday!

Here is a picture of my Equipment room.... Yeah right, I wish! Just a pic of the equipment in the stand. Everythin is wired and trimmed up. There are 2 loose wires for the temp Koralia's I am using from Reven (Mike). When I decide on Tunze or MP40's I will wire them in tight.
I will take a picture of the wiring closeup on Sunday. It looks pretty good.

I am getting excited.... My fish are going to love this....

My fish list:
Purple Tang (Have Already)
Chevron Tang (Possibly)
Pair of Naked Clowns (Have Already)
3 Anthias - Haven't decided on Square Pink, Bartlett's, or Fathead sunburst
Lawnmower Blenny
Flame Angel (Possibly)

although it is a lot of algae, it does look pretty awesome acclimate some mollies to saltwater and throw them in there. they will hook you up and there super easy to catch when you want to take them out
