My LPS dominated Reef

Good evening from the UK everyone - I did some major re-scaping at the weekend - trading a few softies for some new LPS so I thought I'd share some images.

Hope you don't mind.

Nice! I love the elegance coral.

Thanks! Garfield (the Elegance) has been in the tank for 6 months now and seems very happy.

very nice indeed - is that a flame or eibli angel?

She's a Flame Angel - a bit paler in colouration to the usual flames but very fat and healthy (I've had her 18 months now)

That is what I am working towards.

Cheers - must be hard to keep the tank temerature in range in Mesa!! I've been there a few times and it can be HOT!

Thanks very much for the positive feedback.

Have a great day everyone.

Nice tank, doesn't look too jam packed.

My fav was the blue goniopora. I haven't seen one before. Are they common or is this also the first time you found a blue goni

First time that I've seen one - snapped it up. Seems to have fairly short tentacles - no more than half an inch - I think that this is quite common for the encrusting variety (happy to be corrected if that's not the case!!)

Hey Gavin, on goniopora.org the site mentions that gonis whose polyps aren't extended very far could mean its starving.

Take a look at the site, do you target feed any of your gonis?
