just set it up. getting the mantis in a week. i have a question on the hood. i got the aquenon deluxe aquarium 10 with the 20" incandescent deluxe full hood but i really cant find how many watts it is. does anyone know how many watts or if i can keep some softies and kelp or some cool macro algaes?

The wattage will be based on the bulb not the fixture, just like the bulbs in your lamp or ceiling fan.

Incandescent lighting will not be enough light or the right spectrum for macro algaes. IME macros like pretty intense lighting around 6,500k to 10,000k with moderate to high flow. You "might" be able to keep a few low light mushrooms but thats it. There are some non-photosynthetic corals like sun coral that will live under that lighting but they all will require daily target feedings.
