Well, I am green with envy! The 4 foot 120 has been my dream tank ever since I saw your non reef 120 a couple years ago. I have yet to buy it because of the cost of the furniture.
With my wood working skills I could have just built one all this time....NOT!
Yeah, if I wanted my reef spread across my carpet the next morning I could have.....

But seeing the photo lay out you made here, I feel like I could build it now...of course, feeling like you can, and actually being able too...not the same thing. But I may atleast try it now.

Looking good Nova. Did you happen to take any pics of the magnets on the front panel? I see the metal brackets they attach to, but was wondering how you attached the magnets.

Thanks,

Yeah I think my biggest problem is I when you measure things out and draw the line...then measure it again...for some reason it never comes out?

Like I said, lack of skills, but seeing this build made me want to try it. So once the car is running I might start planning something.

Sorry, just went back through and saw the magnet pic. I think I checked that 'reply to post' email alert on my phone. When I do that, the pics don't even show up as red x's; they are just absent (I think it has to do with having to link the url for the pictures).

Anyway, do you know of any place that you can buy these magnets commercially? Or a good source to score some free?

Thanks,

Oh, are the metal brackets just some from hardware store?

the brackets are from lowes and the magnets i got from a friend.i can see if he can get some more.i have couple left

Very Nice. Thanks again for all the pics and details about how the trim hides the 'imperfections!'

Would love to come see the setup next time I'm up in your neck of the woods :D

Thanks, I know I have one HD lying around, but think it only has a single magnet in it. I have a friend that does computer stuff and am waiting to see if he has any as well.

Just let me know.

What is your over all height from the floor to the top of the canopy? It looks really tall, which I really like. I am guessing 7 feet?
And is that piece on the line loc the one you were looking at when we were at your reef Saturday?
