My new 12g Nano Cube-Lots o' Pics!

Hello everyone,
These pics are of my new 12 gallon nano cube. Today is it's second (2nd) day of cycling Im very excited..this is my first saltwater tank. Tomorrow im adding 5 more lbs of LR so i wupdate pics as soon as the new LR is in.

Does moutning the hydrometer in the tank work? I've never seen that before. Very cool idea if it does work.

first i'd say upgrade the pump. they are so weak. then maybe look into a surface skimmer attachment. looks good so far though. keep us posted. i'd take out the hydrometer and the mag float for better looks.

Thanks! Yea, so far the in-tank hydromter seems to work pretty well..eventually i will invest in a refractometer.

I bought the JBJ stand but found it too flimsy so I found an Oceanic Cube stand on sale at Petsmart for $100, much more stable.

Oh i see...my JBJ cabinet stand seems to be just fine...not to flimsy and it seems like its standing up alright. Ill let you all know if i find problems with the stand. More pics of my tank will be up tomorrow

I'll be watching your progress with your 12G. We started about the same time. I have about 12# of live rock, and a small cleaning crew. Maybe this weekend I'll add some livestock. And maybe even a pic or two.

Try to place your rock not on any of the glass, even the back. Mine is on some of the sides and the back, and now Im stuck with it and I cant clean the back or anything. I would try to aqauspace as much as possible to not have any rock on any glass. It makes getting things out and cleaning alot easier.
