Why don't you guys come back when you have a little more than 2 posts and some experience and 3 tangs in a 12 gal well wish I had your money to waste on fish that don't deserve to be treated like that, and way to go albert why don't you just contradict your self somemore first line I would hate to see the reaction about the 3 tangs in my 12 gal then you go on to say would I do it no. So right there goes you input on anything.

I am begining to think Kennyboy dose not have a bigger tank. He thinks his tangs are doing fine but wiat until they get bigger. They will rot away in your tank . Why won't you post some pics of your 125? If you think this is a game it is really not.

You guys are the game. My fish however are not. The care of my fish is something that is very serious to me.

If the care of your fish is serious to you why won't you post pics of your "125"? If you really care about your fish you will either move them up to your "125", or you will bring them back to your LFS and somebody else who has a good home for them will get them and they will live good lives. If you don't, they will just rot away in your nano and you will have the guilt of 2 dead tangs on your heart because you didin't get the right size tank for them.

Hey Albert, I couldn't disagree with you more! I won't go without making it clear how I feel about Kenny doing that to fish, I have compasion for living things. Should everyone just sit here and praise him on how he has such a "great" tank, ignoring the fact that he is on the path to putting his tangs through a slow, torchurous death? And when someone won't admit they're wrong and keeps doing it, well that just makes it worse. I'm sure you were joking about your 12 gallon, so I won't go there. And Kenny, don't worry I'm not part of the "tang police"...this is the first time I have commented on something like this; the way that you handled criticism about it and the fact that you're obviously not going to change is what motivated me to say something. Have a nice day.

Wow flaming on people for their thoughts. And just because people only have 2 post on this board dosent mean they have little experience. If you where talking about Albert I happen to know he had a 150 gallon and is currently selling it and the live stock, but not getting out of the hobby. Why do people assume that others have little experince when they have no idea who the other person is. For christ sakes you could be saying that to Julian Sprung for all you know. Didn't your parents ever teach you that if someone is taunting (sp?) you because it makes you angry to just ignore it? Maybe if yall would quit flaming on this guy we would have seen pictures long ago. Personally I am a noob and am know scared as hell to ask a question on these forums, much less post a picture. And no I dont have any tangs packed in a little aquarium.

Ok Kennyboy now is the time to show us your 125 and prove to us you care about your fish. Or to prove to us you don't care a thing about your fish.

This thread is unreal! Kennyboy 3 months does not qualify a success. If you had the tangs in your tank for a year or two and the were still big and fat you might be able to talk about how good they are doing, but they not going to last that long. The fake pics of the 125, that is classic, how about some real ones. As for albet and billybob its kind of funny the to people that come to your defence in this matter only have 2 or 3 posts. Hummmm, I wonder is that kennyboy at work, making people up so he doesn't feel like he looks so bad? I think the only people that are going to take your side in this are made up.

I will not be "giving them back to my local fish store". That would not be a wise investment. Actually it would be a total waste of money! I paid for them. They are mine! And I have absolutely no reason to return them because I already had the 125 before I even bought them! Do you know how expensive it is to get that amount of live rock for a 125? Let alone a good protein skimmer, more substrate, powerheads, appropriate lighting. I am still in the process of adding live rock to the tank. Uncured live rock which will cause a cycle each time new rock is added. My tangs would be safer in my fully cycled nano until I have the 125 finished. And I am not posting a picture of an ugly tank just to prove it exists...I know, maybe I should have waited until my 125 was ready before purchasing these tangs but you all know how impulsive this hobby can be. Also I don't even have a digital camera yet. All of those prior pics were taken on my cell phone!

HEY EVERYBODY. I DID NOT DRAW THAT STUPID PIC! IT WAS NAVY REEF! Oh yah!!!...I keep spare reef central accounts that are registered before my own account just to come to my defense when I post a thread people don't agree with.

I am really doubting your "125 gallon" now I agree having the tangs for 3 months dose not qualify as experience. In a couple of months those poor tangs will be dead in your 24 gallon.

I take extreame pitty on your fish. I am sorry that your tangs have to live in this nano and I hope that they will find peace one day.

I figured it was. It is one of my favorite sizes. And no I am not somone that he made up, neither is Albert. We are both members of DFWMAS out of Dallas/Ft. Worth. I am not coming to anybodys aid as far as the tangs being in a little tank. I do think they should be in a bigger tank, which he says he has in the works. I don't know the guy, but he hasn't given me any reason not to take his word. In my world you will give almost anyone your trust till they break it. I currently have a 55 gallon set up that I am about to add a hippo to. Are yall going to flame me for that?

2 POST - I'm sorry that dosen't qualify me but I appreicate your thoughts on my expirence..... 29gal. fowler - 12gal nano and working on my 240 in-wall.

Kennyboy1984 - I fell your pain. for your sake I hope you do have a 150 on the way. the tang police may show up at your home.

garvondavis14 - I do appologize about the 12gal. comment it was in bad taste to joke about that but it was a joke to try to break alot of the tension on this thread. We have to remember this is a hobbie and is meant to teach and inform.

We have tried to teach and some have informed but blasting someone isn't going to help. If he dosen't have a 150 gal in the works then he'll learn the hard way and hopefully we haven't scared someone else from posting in fear they will be called liars and stupid for what they have done without prior knowledge like so many of us have done in the begining.

LOL! You are already saying goodbye to them when they are not even dead! You sound as if you want them to die for the sake of being right. You fish hater!

I give up Kennyboy! I am saying that they will not last much longer in your nano. I love fish and I don't want them to die. But if you keep them in thier they will and I pitty them for that. Kennyboy, you do not take people's advice who have kept these fish. I have a purple tang in my 90 gallon and I can say that they need at least 90 gallons to live happily. I have one more thing before I give up. If you really have a "125" (which I extreamly doubt) then why not post some pictures of it. We really don't care how it looks. If you post a picture of it then you will have me and all those other people off your back. It is your benifit if you post pics of your "125". That is it! I GIVE UP KENNYBOY!

And Kennyboy, I am not a fish hater, I LOVE FISH! This just shows how agnorant you are. If you were to read my posts you might learn something. I AM DONE TRYING TO MAKE YOU LEARN. I WILL NOT POST ANY MORE ON THIS THREAD!

Kennyboy: "That would not be a wise investment. Actually it would be a total waste of money! I paid for them. They are mine!"

^GREED

^SO WHEN WILL YOU HAVE THE TANK READY FOR THE TANGS? IN ANOTHER 9 MONTHS, WHEN THEY'RE DEAD?

I know, maybe I should have waited until my 125 was ready before purchasing these tangs but you all know how impulsive this hobby can be.

^NOT A GOOD THING TO PRACTICE...IF YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS HOBBY, YOU NEED TO LEARN TO CONTROL THE IMPULSIVENESS THAT CREEPS UP SOMETIMES. AND IT'S EVEN WORSE WHEN YOU GIVE IN WHEN YOU KNOW THAT IT'S GOING TO TAKE FOREVER TO SET UP A CORRECT TANK FOR THEM.

I currently have a 55 gallon set up that I am about to add a hippo to. Are yall going to flame me for that?

^HELL YES. THAT'S ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF IRRESPONSIBLE DECISION MAKING. I GUESS ALL OF THE PROFESSIONALS AND SCIENTISTS THAT CLAIM THESE FISH NEED A LARGER TANK THAN 55 GALLONS ARE WRONG? YOU MUST KNOW SOMETHING THEY DON'T. AT LEAST KENNY "CLAIMS" TO HAVE A BIG ENOUGH TANK FOR HIS TANGS.

ALBERT- I DON'T CARE IF YOU WERE JOKING, I JUST WASN'T GOING TO ASSUME YOU WERE JOKING, CONSIDERING WHAT I HAVE SEEN LATELY. LOL. IT'S ALL GOOD.

I am not 100% sure if I wrote in there that I have a 135 gallon that it would be moving to in the matter of maybe a month. I already have the rock and all the equipment but the skimmer. The only thing I really have left to do with the tank is trim it out. It is a DAS tank that the MDF got wet on so I striped it all off and am trimming with oak.

ok, kenny think about it you can easily prove all of us wrong, nad make us look liek big jerks by simply posting a pic?

do you like to argue? is this fun for you? only yo ucan stop all of this, but apparently you dont want to!

in 3 secodns yo ucan prove us all wrong, by procrastinating, you "tank" is becoming less and less of a reality to us, if it ever was one!
