My new 375

I purchased a 375 from a LFS here Saturday Feb 24 2007, it is used and has scratches that I have to remove later so some pictures are not the greatest. I did not remove them before the water was in because I had someone coming the same weekend to get my old tank.

New tank - 96 x 30 x 30 x 1" thick acrylic, with two 1.5" PVCs in a center overflow with two 1" returns in the corners.
I will be running 3 400W 14k MHs for lights, these are running on 3 240v ballast to save on the electric bill. The pendants are LumenMax 2 mogul pendants from Premium Aquatics
I am using a Iwaki 1400 RLXT as the return.
2 stream 6100s with control and a wavebox are used for current. I may add more later.
PinPoint temp controller running two 500watt heaters and will be running fans in the summer or a chiller ( am hoping to not need a chiller but have a 1/2 Hp in my garage if needed)
I tranfered everything from my 180 that was in my living room and my 300 that was in my garage to this new tank

I have over 1000pounds of Live rock in the tank with 2" sand bed. The filter system is a 55 gallon container 50% full of water with Macro Algae and Mangrove tree growing in it. This has 80watts of light over it with the lights on 16 hours at night. I am also running a Precision Marine Calcium Reactor with Gen-X media.

Unknown Tang, (purchased 2/2003), Rabbitfish Siganus doliatus (purchased 1/2003), Hippo Tang (donated to me by a friend in 2005), Urchin, Purple Tang (purchased 1/2000), Hippo Tang (purchased 1995), White-faced Tang (purchased 6/2002), Emperor Angel (purchased 5/2003), 4 Green Chromis (purchased 1/2001), 1 MandarinFish (male purchased 1/2006), 2 6-line Wrasse (Male and Female purchased 1/2006), several Serpent Stars, few Hermit Crabs, several snails, Variety of mushrooms, Acroporas, Montiporas, Button Polyps, Turbinaria, Montipora foliosa, Fire Coral, Xenias, Derasa Clam( 5/2001), Crocea Clam (3/2006), Tear Drop Maxima (5/2006) Derasa Clam (Purchased 12/2006), other SPS and soft Corals. The acropora are coloring up nicely, I am getting some great blue and purple color out of the corals for a tank that is skimmerless (and will remain that way). The old system ran with out one and everything seemed to work well.

No the Emperor has been fine since I got him, he did nip the large clam for a while, but he stopped. I just put some soft corals in with him so I will see how he does with them.

I put the sides on the canopy and added the front hinge door, the from of the canopy opens completely for easy cleaning. I will be cutting doors out on the front of it in the future.

Yes I did, I took some from the tank when it was setup at the shop and some from my 180 and 300 tub. So far I have not had any problems

new pictures, I finally got some time to work on the stand, I will be finishing it after MACNA and then starting to finish the canopy
