This one could turn out to be a better deal than the Mustard I got from you. Arrived safely and is in the tank. One tang doesn't seem to like the new addition, but I think that it will be just a matter of time before the new guy figures out he is one of the bigger tangs in the tank. Thanks for the heads up Grant! I would have missed it otherwise. Grant, do you know how large this particular tang will get?Originally posted by tangdiver
Looks nice...thought he would fit in nicely. The price could not be beat.

Now if Kizami was in the spell checking dictionary, I wouldn't have had that problemOriginally posted by Goodwin9

I'd say at least 8" if not a little larger. As soon as I put a six inch ruler on the tank, he took off and everyone else wanted in the picture......Originally posted by michika
Beautiful addition. Is in the 10" you thought it was?

I thought about it for my tank...but did not want so many SPS frags.

My mimic seems to be a solitare fish in that it seems to do its own thing. Doesn't get in the way of the other tangs even when I feed the tank. My Yellow Eyed Kole tangs act the same way in my other tanks. I'm not positive, but I don't think that they will get as big as your other tangs.Originally posted by LionFish-xS-
DUDE I am in love with all of your tangs,
I am currently stocking a 220 with mostly tangs.
I have a
Blue regal
2 yellow tangs. One 9 in one 5 or so
a 9 in Desjardini sailfin
a Juvi unicorn about 7 in .
and a 10 in Naso!
I am wanting to add a mimic next. How did yours act with all the other tangs?
Had it not been for TANGDIVER pointing that page for that fish, I would have missed it. Here is a picture of the one that I purchased last June from LA for $189. This one was about 4 " when I got it and was doing well in the tank until I had a mishap in late October and lost the fish. I wanted to find one to replace it, but never had seen another until TANGDIVER forwarded the link to the fish on SWF.Originally posted by FunkieReefJunkie
Sweet acanthurs! I remember spotting him at SWF and then looking him up to see if he would be suitable for my tank. http://www.fishbase.org/summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=4746 That bad boy gets big. :eek1: I could just imagine him and my crosshatch duking it out and the tang with the razor would win. Not good. :lmao:
