Your tank is looking great Chuck. Your newest tang is so pretty, which makes me want to get a few for my little reef. However, I think two is enough. Wouldn't you agree? ;)
Marc...stick with two, much easier to handle...it gives you even more reason to come back to South Dakota later this year to see a large collection of tangs in one home aquarium.......

Had it not been for TANGDIVER pointing that page for that fish, I would have missed it. Here is a picture of the one that I purchased last June from LA for $189. This one was about 4 " when I got it and was doing well in the tank until I had a mishap in late October and lost the fish. I wanted to find one to replace it, but never had seen another until TANGDIVER forwarded the link to the fish on SWF.

This one is missing the Blue stripe behind the eye. must be a different morph than the one you just added. Unless they develop it with age.

Sharp eyes! I missed that. I went back and looked at the invoice from LA and they shipped it as a Spotted Cheeks tang. I thought that this new one looked much sharper than my original, but thought that it had to due with it begin twice the size. I wonder if that marking doesn't appear with age??????

Here's a pic of my A. maculiceps. He's about 3.5 inches and also missing the blue stripe. In my opinion they look much better with the stripe.
Also a pic of what I believe to be an A. fowleri, he's only about 2 inches. I'll have to grow him to see how he turns out.

Glad you are happy, will still keep an eye out for ya.

Well Grant, you might have to make room for him. Some one is keeping him in the cave. I haven't seen him out for a day now.......

A couple of interesting pictures I took. The first shows the anenome in my 210 tank expanded, taken last night. The second show the same section of the tank with the anenome much smaller revealing the eggs that the clowns had laid some time between last night and this afternoon. (The bright orange spots just to the right of the anenome)

How sweet. Good eyes, Chuck. Remember when we found some maroon eggs when I visited?
Actually, I had never seen this anenome this expanded before. I thought that maybe it was about ready to split. This morning, you can imagine my surprise when I looked at the tank and didn't see it until I looked closely and then noticed the eggs. I've lost track of how many times this pair has laid eggs that I have found, and probably many more that I didn't notice. It would really be neat if some day, I would actually end up with some additional clowns. (Just what I need, more fish in the tank.........)

I don't remember if you were able to get any pictures of those eggs when you where here?

Nice pics sorry to hear about the tang lose. Those tangs are really nice looking. I have seen a tang in a guys 150 and he didnt know what kind of tang it was and he said it was a Macalatis tang sorry dont know the wright spelling for it. But the tang looks exactly like yours.

Keep them well fed and turn out lights for a couple days....corals will think a hurricane is near....never hurts....gives fish a chance to come out with no fear...

I might have to try and keep the llights off. Second day in a row the new fish has been hiding in the cave. I wonder if it hadn't been kept by itself at SWF for so long that it doesn't know how to react now with other fish in the tank????

Does anyone have more info on the A. fowleri? I think I have one but can not get the pic resized on my new computer to post it.

By the way nice tank and fish.
