Be careful not to get bit or stung. It would be nice if you had someone there with a big net to keep you safe.

Tex was mad that I was ignoring him while I was taking pictures, so had to take one of him....

um, I think I know where your missing fish went...

It will be interesting to see how that orange shoulders colours change. I have a chocolate tang that I've been watching change for the past 2 years. He's still not completely chocolate yet either.

This one has a lot of growing to do. Going to have to feed them the way Bart does otherwise it might be years before this one grows up........

soaked selcon, garlic extreme and zoecon on nori every other day plus my frozen food mixed 3 times daily. bought my orange shoulder 1.5" back in December and now over 7". he starting to change colors already last month toward the rear of his body.

my orange shoulder is over 2 years old and just now getting a little bit of white streamer. He's a big boy too, but just taking a long time to change color.

Tell us how you feed now. Has it changed at all from what you did when I was there?
Am still feeding pretty much the same as when you were here. Mostly a mixture of frozen foods, nori, and once a week I will throw in some flake food and pellets. Pumps shut off in the big tank when I feed so it is pretty easy to keep track of how much they are eating.

Are you feeding a lesser amount now?

I'm amazed how long it takes some fish to change. My unicorns grow and change so quickly, but the acanthurus seem to take years. Even my bicolor parrot has taken 4 years to even show signs of changing.

I've noticed alot of people using selcon. Do most of you guys soak your food in selcon?

I use it about every 4 days. I switch my soaking around from 3 kinds of Earth2O vitamins, Selcon, and Vita-Chem.

I just picked up a dozen Kizami on sale for $1.78 each. :D
On line, or did you buy locally? That is cheap!

This past weekend while showing the tank to a few friends, one asked me what the fish was that was sticking it's head out of a rock. Well, it turned out to be the Blue Dot Jawfish I had gotten a couple of weeks back that decided to leave his original hideout and move to one of the flower pot corals and take up new residence. I hadn't seen it for over a week and was sure that something had happened to it. While it is out from under the rocks, it is still hard to get a good picture as it is towards the back of the tank.

Your asking a lot for me to remember back that far....I believe that I am feeding less now than before. It is really nice to be able to hit one button and shut off all of the pumps, makes it so much easier to watch what is happening with the food.
