ahhh...a bug-eyed Rhomboid. Watch that one carefully. They have a very verticle orientation, always looking to jump out.

Here they are...

I got a "pair" and one tried to kill the other in QT. I put the agressive one in the display, where he still resides, and the other one did a fish-stick while I was away on a fishing trip.

And to rub salt in my many wounds, I just found my new tang laying on the bottom of the QT. He appears to have some sort of infection/popeye and I am fairly certain he won't make it. I dosed some medicine (Note to self: Turn off freakin' skimmer when adding medication!) and held him in front of a powerhead a few times.

Had to leave so I set him into a "cradle" of a dead clam, facing the powerhead. I am so bummed. :(

These two seemed to get along while acclimating and were paired up once I put them in the tank. I'll keep my finger crossed that they like their new home and decide NOT TO jump ship...

Sorry to hear about the tang, was it the one that I think that it was?

you have one heck of a fish collection there. wow! Even Chuck might get jealous.
He's got a few I don't have in my collection..........

I also picked up a pair of Purple Tile fish. Hard fish to photograph. Not only was it darting in and out of the rocks, the the color was hard to get right?

J,
That really sucks about your new tang.

Chuck,
Those are some sweet new additions for sure. The colours on those tile fish are stunning.

I think that is the same. They are a pair of Golden Rhomboidalis Wrasse, (Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis).

Yup. And yes, I lost the new tang. The CBB is not looking great either.
Were they from the same place as the Cardinals?

Got a picture of the pair of wrasses today out and about. It seems that they are staying at one end of the tank, probably because they don't have a crowd bothering them. Anyhow, it was nice to see them out.

Help & advice from all of the plumbing experts.

I currently have two external canister filters on the tank, one with charcoal, and the second with Rowaphos. Each have a Maxijet 1200 running in the sump.

I have a Blueline 20 which was originally intended to supply addition flow to the skimmer if need, but has never been used.

I am going to a a third media reactor (Charcoal), and thought that I would use the Blueline to feed all three through a manifold that I am thinking of putting together.

I thought that I would build it with the option of adding one more in the future (hope that's not needed), and have the far right valve empty back into the sump incase there is too much flow going into the three reactors.

Before I start gluing and tearing everything apart, can I get some input as to whether or not this will work?

Thank you!!
