I know what you mean, one of my best FTS was captured when I was taking a picture of the corner of my 470 that was chipped in shipping and had been repaired by rounding the corners of the tank.

Chuck - How much is your electric bill monthly? The reason I ask is mine is running around $175/mo with 2400W of lighting for 7 hours and the rest of the tank room (~2500W) running 24/7. I just had the electric company stop out today and tell me how to save on some power throughout my house and he said when i'm at full blast my tank room is roughly 5kW per hour.

That 470 is a serious tank. Goodwin9 have you contemplated trying sps again? With the stability of your 600 you should be able to get some to grow.

David..I wished that mine was less than $200., but it is averaging around $1000. a month, higher in the summer & a little less in the winter. I haven't figured the wattage of all on the lights, but the 9 chillers are using a lot of juice which produce heat which the central air must take care of. The good news is that my gas bill has never been higher than $40. in any given month.

Well we dont get into this hobby to save money. Just part of the expenses.

I was watching one on the side of the tank and noticed that the flat worms move right along when they are being chased by the nudibranchs.
