What ever happened to that Garibaldi?
I like the Diver's Den at Liveaquaria.com, bluezooaquatics.com, & saltwaterfish.comOriginally posted by Reeftanks6

Too late on the Geribaldis, should have read up on them before I added them. The fish are doing well and some seem to grow like weeds. I probably over feed a little too much.Originally posted by Beaun
I have a temperate tank and would love to take those Garibaldis off your hands, no charge of course...haha. Tank is looking great, good luck on the flatworms. I am curious as to what kind of fish growth you are getting?

Nice fish Chuck
I found a little nano cube gravel vac which worked well. No plans to use chemicals because of the large number of worms and I am concerned that I wouldn't be able to get all of them out once they are dead. I tried a six line wrasse in the cube, but it poisoned the tank. (I assume by picking at them, rather than eating them?) I've watched the nudibranch and they just suck up the worms when they catch them.Originally posted by Reefer08
WOW! That is a lot of flatworms. How did you sipon them all out? Air line tubing? Do you plan on using any chemicals to kill these flatworms? Im thinking the toxins they release will cause some serious harm to your tank inhabitants.
Do you have any wrasses in the tank?
I am pretty sure that they are red planaria which Melev has a nice write up on his site. http://www.melevsreef.com/flatworms.htmlOriginally posted by Cougarman
What kind of flatworms are they? What are they eating to fuel the population explosion?
