My new 600 gallon reef

How many Dussumieri tangs do you have in your 600g tank? I remember seeing you had at least one.

I just got one a couple weeks ago... did you realize they had such wicked teeth?

I have one in the 600 and one in the 470. I'll take a closer look tomorrow when the lights are on, but I don't think mine have choppers like that. How big is your tang?

Chuck, i heard the Dussumieri shoal really well too.
They might shoal really well, but they get over 20 inches! Wouldn't want too many of those in one tank...

Mine is about 7" or so... I'm pretty sure your Dussu's teeth are the same as mine are, mine was just baring his teeth :)

Just what I need...a shoal in one tank. I am lucky to have 1 in two of my tanks.

my dussumieri is about 10 inches. He's been that size for a few years.
That would be the perfect size IMO :)

Sweet as always. Any update on the mollies?
They are doing great. I had one die 2 or 3 days after I placed them in the tank, and of all things, I had one jump  I see babies every once and a while near the top of the water, but then they disappear. I guess the corals are making a meal of them. They are eating frozen brine & mysis, and love when I hang a piece or Nori on the side of the tank. I never would have guessed a $2. molly could make that nice of an addition to a salt tank.

I ordered in a couple of Velvet Nudibranch to help rid my frag tank of flatworms. Will be interesting to watch and see how much of a dent they can make in the population.

Looks like that first one is blazing a path through a bunch of them.

... Or maybe they're just slithering away?

LOL..I don't know how many they can consume in one day, but I figure I've got several months supply for them. I just hope that they do a better job than the sixline wrasse did.........

This morning there were 20+ little ones swimming all around in the tank. Hard to photograph.
