My new 600 gallon reef

Chuck

Seeing all your tanks lined up like that is just soooo impressive!
Many pblic aquariums don't have that much reef gallonage!!!
Sweet!!!

Thanks Bax. It's getting closer to being completed. Lots of plumbing to be finished now that the tanks are in place. Woodwork trim needs to be put in place and then things should be ready to go. Need to add some livestock once all tank parameters are steady.

Woodwork has been completed for the in wall tanks.

As most of you are probably aware our friend and fellow reefer Chuck Purdy has been battling cancer for some time now. Sadly his long battle ended Saturday as he passed away at the Dougherty Hospice House here in Sioux Falls.

I spoke with Chuck's family and funeral services will be Wednesday, January 5th at 10am at the Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. More information and an online guestbook will be available at the funeral home's website - http://www.millerfh.com/index.php.

While fishkeeping was only one of Chuck's interests, it was certainly an important one to him and was the reason most of us got to know Chuck in the first place. Although much work remains at the butterfly house, Chuck's donation there will continue to bring joy and wonder to others even though he's no longer with us.

Chuck you will be missed.

Phil
