My new 600 gallon reef

Chuck was a great guy and his gift will be appreciated for a long time by all in our community. I for one plan to continue to add pictures to this page as his gift comes to fruition.. lots of work to do but keep watching, and keep Chuck and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Very sad to hear.
I did notice that his last post was of "priceless picture," on Christmas eve.
To be able to share his passion in such a generous way!

I will miss Chuck too. He was a great guy, willing to help out and give advice. I ran some water to him once to do a phosphate test in his photometer. He showed me a lot of things about testing water and was always willing to show and tell about his tanks.

I'll try to update photos as tanks get up and running. We now have another 125/150, 2-29g bio cubes, a 75g, ric tank and a few more. Some will be show tanks and others QT tanks.

long time coming...here are some pics

You're welcome. It's all still a work in progress. We hit the tanks really hard 2 days a week and it's all volunteer work so have to schedule around work and family :)

If I lived closer I would love to help out. Ohio is a bit of a drive though. :) Thank you again for the wonderful legacy you are carrying out!

It's fun!! I love this hobby and I'm a service person. I like to do things for people so this comes naturally :)

I got to climb in a 210 cube and buff it out. I also was part of a 3 person crew that buffed the front of the 600! It's hard work to keep the buffer from not taking off on me. But then women don't have the upper body strength that dudes do!

Here is the 125g planted tank. I think it's had fish in it for a week or two now. It's going through a bit of algae right now. The fish in it right now are Harlequin Rasbora. I'm trying to get them to add 6 cory dora's and 6 cherry shrimp :)

You're welcome. There is more going on. We have a couple clams(Teardrop maxima and one other clam) and one hippo tang in the 600g. I'll get picks of that when more fish go in shortly. I can take pics of the cichlid tanks, I guess :)

You really know what you're doing..
some happy faces pays all the job :D

hi, i'm new to marine tanks, soo i have some doubts...
Does the Algae Turf Scrubber, cleans everything that is need?
Can i set up a tank, only with it?
