My new 600 gallon reef

That's what I figured but you rarely see them in successful reef systems. That's quite a collection of fish you have there. Breaking some "rules" for sure, and they all look very healthy.

The last six months I've been feeding him whole Sardines, at the same time I've noticed my green chromis population has dwindled. I'm suspicious that he's gotten big enough to predate the chromis. Either that or the Green bird wrasse has snatched them up. I've noticed he chases them a bit. Worth the sacrifice though as long as he doesn't mess with the anthias.
Definately breaking rules. Especially with the Tang police. otherwise The porcupine puffer and clown trigger seem to leave the reef alone.

Sweet collection dude

If I could catch her, I would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, RC frowns on the kind of language I use to describe her.

Nice little colony Chuck. How are you feeling?
I have been going through old pictures that never got posted and am going to try and get some of the better ones posted. Everyone likes pictures in the threads....

Good news is that I got the remaining staples and stitches removed...bad news is they want me to start radiation and chemotherapy in two weeks.

Argh. I'm glad you are getting healed, but feel bad that you have to deal with chemo. :( I bet all those aquariums help keep your mind off of things, right?

I've got a guy coming over tonight (hopefully) to let me try out his D70 to see if I'll like it.

Getting closer...I think. Still can't seem to do to much with the tanks other than keep them fed. Had a friend stop over last evening and change all of the chemical reactors (charcoal & GFO) and carry down stairs a number of salt buckets from the garage.

yeah, the real problem with chemo is horrible fatigue, even worse than what I had/have with the stroke. That makes it so hard to maintain a reef tank, let alone several. I think if I were going through hospital stays, chemo, etc. I would hire in some help, just so the time I spent around the tanks was less work and more pleasurable.

Super nice! I had never thought about a Ric. species tank lol. But it is nice. I hope your feeling better :) And thanks for sharing.

Even with a coating of coralin, your tank is fantastic Chuck.

That ric tank does look pretty good too! Just a blanket of color.

Good luck with your treatments.
