nice meat-eating carpet you got there! :D
It's getting thicker..I think some of them have split on their own.

hey Chuck hang in there..

Love the ricordia tank. I have been contemplating changing my sand out fo r the biggest grain available down the line. maybee half at a time. I might put some of it in my fuge but curious of some big substrate? What did you use in that tank? ANy you guys have any thought on this?

Chuck,

Love the ric tank!!!!!!!!!!! Spent half hour or so going through this thread. Great pictures, cool conversation. Hope you're feeling better and can enjoy you're tanks for many years to come.

Eric in the Ricordea tank, I used crushed coral. Most of the rics came in attached to small pieces of substrate and I hoping the that the few that didn't will attach in this tank so that I can eventually build up some nice Ricordea rocks to place in the other tanks.

My 470 suffers the same fate from lack of attention......

Goodwin9, your tank is really showing its maturity now. All that coraline looks great. You've really beat the odds with your system and all those large tangs. Amazing considering someone projected it would be a disastrous failure a few splits back. Good Job! Hang in there with there with your health buddy.

Let's get Sam back over there to scrape the walls now before it gets out of control. ;) Not that I don't like your pink polka-dotted tangs, of course. :D

Well said!

BTW, a real help for me regarding the polka dots is this unit:

These things work great. They are called ALGAE DOZER SCRAPER PADS and they will take off the coraline dots fairly easily.

a very impressive tank
Thank you! I wished it looked a little better right now. I see the web cams are even having a hard time showing it off...sorry about that.

wow, those are a LOT of rics!
After selling a number of them off, I think that there are 60 to 70 of them left in the tank. Lots of color and variety, makes for a nice look.

Thanks Cougarman! I seem to be getting a little more strength back each day slowly but surely..

Jonathan..thanks for the tip and thank you asnatlas, for fixing the link. I thought that it was just me that couldn't get it to work.

Yeah Chuck sorry about that. Anyway, these really work well. They have a somewhat limited lifespan but I know once you try one out, you will be using them all the time.
