sorry for the bad photo quality i took it on my phone.

Yep, rose bubble tip anemone (Entacmaea Quadricolor). Looks to be pretty healthy, too. Congrats!

How long has your tank been set up? It looks pretty young...if so, it may be difficult to keep this anemone alive. They can have a hard time in younger tanks as conditions and chemistry tends to fluctuate more. I wish you best of luck, but please do some research on the creatures you buy before allowing the LFS to talk you into buying them.

On a lighter note, what kind of phone do you have? Looks like a pretty decent picture to me!

tank is 4 months old the white is taking a wile to get covered and im not mass dosing the calcium keeping it right in range so i dont have crazy purple growth all over just in spots. and i know it should be 6 months at least to a year old but i have monitored my ph and levels for weeks both lights on and shortly after lights off and everything seems stable so i thought i would give it a shot... LFS told me to wait a bit too but i thought what the heck and it seems to be working out lol. the phone is verizons chocolate 2 its 1.3 megapixel.

That's decent for 1.3 megapixels...I have the hardest time catching my clowns at a standstill with my 4.1 megapixel point and shoot.

Four months isn't too bad at all. Still might be a little shaky, but with some good husbandry practices and good care, you should be okay.

heres a question during the day my clowns want nothing to do with my anemone but seconds after the lights are off they (more the female) go absolute bonkers on it... and the female gets way too rough on it... so the point it closes up the anemone seems to love the male tho... what should i do?

I am having the same problem with mine....my female hosted but the male still prefers my powerhead. Also it looks like my RBTA is uncomfortable with the female hosting it so soon.

I plan on moving my anem or will be putting a mesh box over it.

Moving it won't do much, I'm afraid. However, if you can, cover it with a strawberry basket or other similar thing so that it still gets light and flow, but can't get pummeled by your clown until it can grow large enough that the clown doesn't hurt it.

my clown looks to be settling down on it now i think she got the idea when i chased her away from it once to give it a break now she just ling lays in it and lets the male join too. :)
