My nigs male kicked out a pair of chrysogasters from their haddoni  Do you envision size difference between nigs and gasters? :eek2:

Cujo II is the name.

lol, these guys are fearless!

I went in to the LFS today to look around...The guy had a new golden dwarf moray in the same display tank as his gripes pair...Guess who had to show the eel who is boss at feeding time! :eek2:

I two have just recently got a pair of nigripes, They were the smallest of the lot at about 7 cm each inc tail, The shop had 5 pairs (I live in Bangkok). I was a little concerned about them for the first three days as one would not eat at all.

Now they both eat like horses (incidentally the one that was not eating ate on day three then did the biggest white feceas and it has been brown ever since hooray), live and frozen brine, flake pellet and even shrimp chunks from my own recipe. In fact I would go as far to say they are the greediest clowns I have owned or seen!

Does yours host the rbta in the picture properly or is it a tenuous relationship?
Does yours eat well?
Mine is in a 50 gallon tank with 100 lbs live rock 12 snails and two cleaner shrimp.

I would like to get 2 or three rbtas for the tank as I have not kept a magnifica before and have heard bad things about them, I have a 150 watt 10000k mh and 144 watts of pc half actinic half 50/50.

You can see my pair on a thread from a couple of days ago or look in the gallery

mine never leaves the BTA now and he has been eating since day one...He it's frozen mysis and assorted pellets...

UPDATE

UPDATE

Just thought I would give a little update/follow up. She has grown quite alot in the last year or so. She is definitely the boss of the tank. She bites me sometimes when i have my hand in the tank to try to show me who is boss, but i still lover her. She is my favorite Fish in the tank because of the personality.

Sometimes when i walk by the tank she actually audibly barks (for lack of a better term) at me, when she does this i give her a treat :D

She hit a growth spurt not too long ago, which is why I call it a she, I suspect it was her maturing into female. 2 weeks ago i finally ran across another little guy in the LFS so I had to pick him up. It was a little rough at first between the two but now they are pretty much inseperable.

Anyway here are some pics.

Very nice fish. One of my favorites. You are lucky to have found specamins as healthy as those.

Sweet glad you could find another one......Mine are still alive and kicking as well. Still skittish though, seems mine have not lost that attribute. I did buy a H. magnifica and the female went absolutely berserk on it and ended up tearing the foot of it, it started to melt and die......Ooh well try again some other time.....Great looking fish though still my favorite clowns.
