I wanted these since I first saw a pic of them and got them yesterday from one of my LFS, there hard to come by here in Puerto Rico and don't get many at all, and these guys in my opinion look great and there jet black. Female is I say about close to 2inch and the male about 1 1/2 or so and they get along just perfect, not sure how old they are because I to excited to ask.

Here are some pic's there not great quality but hope you guys and gals enjoy them. Will post more once time goes by and learn to mess with the camara.

Ok here we go, Some of you might remember how my tank look when I started so here is an update.

BAndito rox this just wont last, you will lose one after another after another over the course of the next year, you just can have that many clowns in a tank that size for a long period of time.

They will only be there temporary for about a month or so, Plus the small one's are not even an 1/2inch yet and I make sure my water is perfect at all times.

But thanks for your concern.

I would definatly remove both the nudibranch and the wart slug, both specialised feeders that will die and most likely poison the other animals in your tank., plus thats alot of fish you got in there,

Good luck.

Fins are clamped on the new arrivals. They are not interested in eating?

Set up the bare bottomed hospital tank now and get ready to run hypo at the minimum, possibly copper and formalin dips.

Save yourself a significant hassle in the future by using a quarantine tank for at least 30 days.

Meant to say the B&W are not eating Rod's food but the rest go crazy for it.

@adtravels
Thank for your concern about the slugs but I just read this > http://www.sergeyphoto.com/underwater/nudibranchs.html < They may release toxic if they are attack by other fish but it doesn't say it's deadly poison that will kill the other fish it's just a defense thing. But I'll ask the LFS again to see what they say. And as far as the fish count read the post I left for GSMguy

@PayasoDelMar
Thank You for the complement and yes they looking great 1 is completely colored and the other one has a very very little bit more to go but I'm very happy with them.

@traveller7
Thank for the advice, But I saw them eat at the LFS but I'm trying to ween them to eat Rod's foods. before I buy any fish I make sure I see them eating and the LFS keeps there fish in QT before they sell them.

hey bandito, please may i ask how long your tank has been set up? it looks so clean.

Not safe enough. QT in separate rooms, with separate nets, with separate tank cleaning equipment, etc., is unlikely to manage 100% in an LFS environment. Wishful thinking at best.

The existing juveniles look perky and in great health, you have done well with them.

Have an explanation of the clamped fins on your new fish? In not one picture do the B&W ocellaris look like they should be out of QT. Regarding weening off foods, let them settle in and eat whatever they will eat prior to weening them onto target diets.

It takes little effort to set the Hospital tank up now, but if you wait, you may have quite a disaster on your hands.

Best of luck in whatever you decide.

@traveller7

I'll pickup a 10gal tank and setup a QT just in case. I have Mardel, CopperSafe but will ask the LFS about formalin, or does it go by another name?

Thanks again for the great advice and please don't think I ignore this kind of information.
