Minor adjustments for color. He's about 9 feet and was just sunning himself on the bank when we pulled up. Photo taken with a Nikon D90/Nikkor 70-300mm from about 10 feet (behind a tree!).

It's a nice picture, it looks very over purpled though. Even the dead grass to the front and right side of the frame is purple
