My new Candies

I got this sweet little pair a few weeks back from Aqua Touch in Arizona. I put them in the main reef display about 2 weeks ago after they hung out all alone in my holding reef for a while. They were quite content in the holding reef as they had no company. During that time I observed them intently for health and behavior and I got them good and fat for their jump to the big leagues :D. They stayed hidden for a day or two once introduced to the main display but showed themselves when food was flying around. They just couldn't resist a meal and popped out on the second evening for a morsel to eat. I was worried, as I always am with new arrivals, that they might not feel the love from the rest of the neighborhood but after a few days they were out and about hangin with the crew in the tank. Now they are out a lot and eat voraciously. Little pigs they are :D. I really cannot get a decent shot of them in my reef so this picture is from AquaTouch before they shipped them out to me. I look forward to some getting some good shots of them in my tank. They are absolutely stunning :inlove:.

Ughh, not to sound... Never mind, the pic came up, just a bit late.
My favorite little fish for a smaller tank. Gorgeous!

Thanks everyone :D. I have been absolutely loving these guys. Yesterday they were out from the moment I got home until I went to bed in full lights and actinics. They seem quite content. Maybe with two of them they tend to be more out and about, I'm not really sure. I was hoping to get to see them often enough, but now it is all the time. I'm loving their cool attitudes and the way they hang out and then scoot around the rocks, they are quite active.

Mark, I need your expert camera skills. My fish shots are crapola :(.

Congrats on a beautiful pair of fish. I love mine and he is always out and about, he will even eat from my hand. Give them some time and they will be very bold. :)

The Candy pair put on an awesome show last night after the tank lights went out and only a lamp in the living room was on across the room. They began to rub on each other and entwine together swirling around each other over this front rock. Then they began to rise together side by side as one until they reached the front glass. They did this dance over and over while we watched quietly. It was the coolest :D :D.
